That’s where Airportag comes in. This company makes a wealth of travel-related products, and so many of them are adorable must-haves. There are eye masks galore, clothing, pillows, and other kinds of home decor, as well as great T-shirts.

For example, I’m quite partial to the T-shirt that says, “Do I Look Like I Fly Economy?” "Do I Look Like I Fly Economy?" is just one travel-themed T-shirt that you’re bound to like wearing … [+] Airportag has been in business since 2014 and prides itself on offering a wealth of travel products. “We are a company that’s all about traveling and aviation. We design products to have people remembering about their travel experiences in a much more contemporary design,” a company spokesperson told me.

I definitely need the eye mask that says, “Wake Me In Paris.”

One of the bestsellers, according to the company spokesman, is the Lionel Richie luggage tag that says, “HELLO. Is it me you’re looking for?” I find that to be hilarious. Lionel Richie’s famous song is used in a humorous luggage tag that practically assures you pick the … [+] Many of the products can be personalized – such as the London/Heathrow boarding pass pillow.

If your décor features blue anywhere in the house, make sure to check out the USA azure throw pillow depicting an American passport. The throw pillows in fact, depicting passports from around the world, are one of the company’s bestsellers.

“We ship worldwide and have actually shipped to almost every single country on the planet. Our customers are people who frequently travel for business or pleasure,” said the spokesperson.

You can also personalize many of the items with your name or favorite destination. There are mugs, pouch bags, iPhone cases, luggage tags, luggage, coasters, and even a duvet cover, which you can augment with your name and favorite destination. And the list goes on.

And here’s something else you might consider: Have you ever thought about decorating one specific room in your home as a “travel room?” I did just that, and it has proven to be the perfect repository of souvenirs of my 30 years of travels. For starters, I found a wallpaper border depicting antique maps, and I used that on the walls, and even to cover a mini refrigerator in the room, where I store skincare products from around the world. I have small tapestries from Paris and Egypt. Pillows from Thailand. Travel books used to prop up lamps. Zebra-designed lampshades. Vintage posters from Italy and from cruise lines. Petite Battersea boxes depicting luggage all-stacked-up. And lots, lots more. I frequently walk into this room, when I simply want to “take the tour” and remember my travels with great fondness. It gives me immense pleasure and a sense of delight when I think back to all of the places I have visited.

I’ve also got a South Pacific bathroom filled with all-things aloha (and Bora Bora), and a French toile bedroom decorated with the much-loved fabric from France depicting peasant life. You get the idea.

So, when the time is right and you can start traveling again, you may just consider making travel a contemporary theme in your house!
